Client background:
A leading software company has a great toolset that their customers can use to offer their newspaper and magazine readers an engaging, personalized experience and an opportunity to monetize their content through subscriptions and advertising. The client needs a competitive for creating replica edition of various daily newspapers across desktop, mobile & tablet.
Challenge:
It is a new platform with a pressing timeline for the launch. There is a limited budget for the new offshore experiment and the client has apprehensions about the language barrier and the difference in time zone.
Solution:
After hours of brainstorming and testing new design concepts and workflows, we set aside dozens of design and content specialists from various in-house teams to create a new dedicated team for the client to support their 24×7 newspaper digitization. We helped the client reduce the cost and turnaround time for digitization of various daily newspapers display their Replica edition of various daily newspapers across desktop, mobile & tablet.
Result:
Newspaper archives of more than 5 decades were captured and completed within 4 months. All critical data elements captured from images and were keyed in client system. A streamlined workflow helped Analysts capture and record the complete and correct information. Extremely high Data security was ensured. The engagement started with 2 Newspapers and ramped up to 15 International Newspapers. Customer is now a patron and has 7 Con digitize all of its daily newspapers in 4 hour non negotiable TAT.
