General responsibilities of Law reporter include:

1. Drafting of clear and concise case digests that accurately reflect the judgment of the court
2. Editing of digests to agreed standard and checks among other things that:       
i. Principle of law accurately stated;
ii. Case assigned correct taxonomy and catchwords
iii. No grammatical errors made
3. Ensure that all case/statutory references and representation details are correct
